Now Hiring: Media Supervisor

Level Mpls is hiring a Media Supervisor to drive and oversee client media planning, buying and execution to ultimately meet and exceed client goals and maximize client investments. We’re looking for a self-starter that’s motivated by the ever-changing media world and enjoys leading a team. Someone who’s mastered the science behind connecting with consumer/business audiences, fosters curiosity, and thinks outside the box with fresh new ideas that make a difference. This role melds art and science to develop integrated media and connections plans and marketing results for clients.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of client media campaigns.
• Serve as lead media strategist for agency clients.
• Oversee and partner with media planners and partners to develop integrated media plans.
• Serve as a source for best practices – within the Agency and among Clients.
• Develop and build relationships and partnerships with media vendors/partners.
• Research and lead the adoption of progressive, out-of-the-box media approaches.
• Partner in the development and oversight of agency mar-tech tools and strategies.
• Plan and present media recommendations and media reports internally and to clients or assign planners to present.
• Ensure the negotiation of market-competitive rates and custom media/content deliverables.
• Oversee media teams and partners to ensure consistent execution and implementation of plans – to goal and to budget.
• Leverage ongoing metrics and reporting to optimize and maximize campaign results.
• Oversee and partner with media team to manage budgets, media authorizations, insertion orders, change orders and media reconciliation.
• Partner with executive leadership on new business as needed.

 Teamwork and Collaboration

• Work closely with the Creative and Client Management teams to solve problems and innovate.
• Work within the media team and as part of a cross-functional agency team to ensure plans can measurably build brands and drive demand.
• Partner with media planners as well as the Marketing Intelligence Analyst, Operations and the Digital Strategy team on the development and analysis of all media reports.
• Partner with media planners and the Bookkeeper to ensure media reconciliation, billing and payment is accurately completed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
• 7+ years of media planning and negotiation experience.
• Strong programmatic digital/interactive/social media skill set along with knowledge of traditional channels like broadcast, print and outdoor.
• Proven track record with demand generation techniques.
• Interest and experience in SEM and social media marketing.
• Ability to work on, and lead a team that works on, multiple projects with short deadlines.
• Ability to help teams and clients see around the corner and pivot to meet market needs.
• Proven expertise in analyzing complex data and market research to produce actionable plans as well as an ability to lead team members to do the same. 

Necessary Skills

• Strong verbal, written, presentation, analytical, communication and time management skills.
• Detail-oriented, with strong organization stills and a mastering of data and media science.
• Strong leadership skills combined with enthusiasm, passion, creativity, and commitment.
• The ability to lead a team – functioning both as a leader and a resource that works directly on planning – and to collaborate across teams and with media partners and clients.
• Competence with Microsoft Office applications, digital media platforms, and reporting dashboards.
