Raising awareness of home and community-based support.

North Dakota Health and Human Services (NDHHS) provides essential services to older adults and adults with disabilities allowing them to live independently in their homes and communities. The goal is to empower people with support options so they can make informed choices that best fit their situation.

To promote the efforts of the NDHHS, we produced a series of testimonial videos with actual stories from residents to drive home the alternative care system’s positive real-life impact in a human and emotional way. Viewers get an authentic first-person point of view of individuals’ personal challenges and the life-transforming support they receive.

We also created a series of fact sheets to effectively communicate the stages of the services and support process to audiences, including state and federal officials, the provider community, and North Dakotans interested in home and community-based services. Each of the single-page documents included a case study recounting a human impact story.
