While no one can stop the changing seasons, immunization can help prevent severe seasonal illness. North Dakota set out to urge residents to get seasonal vaccinations to protect against the potentially serious complications that can arise from the flu, pneumonia, and other illnesses. The state also wanted to remind people to stay updated on their lifespan immunizations.

To inspire people to get immunized, we took a positive spin to promote wellness using vaccine messaging that’s flexible, memorable, and impactful. Our Do Well campaign showed the upside of getting immunized and doing what you love to do in contrast to being stuck inside sick. The Do Well campaign’s adaptable platform included calls to Do Winter Well, Do Life Well, Do Childhood Well, and Do Back To School Well.

Attention-getting digital and social ads featured a diverse representation of North Dakota residents in compare and contrast “Well” and “Oh Well” situations to underscore the benefits of staying healthy through immunization. Videos for YouTube, OTT, and gas station pumps used upbeat music and appealing imagery to drive awareness. We also deployed animated signage in North Dakota malls to encourage those shopping for the latest fashions to keep up with the latest immunizations.
